Paul Le Sage, a California native and founder of Torch Wear know by many as Torch was born a Virgo - 9.9.58 to be exact. Though he thinks it is curse it brings the one thing that as never let him down - the will to strive for the best. 

After spending decades traveling the USA attending all NHRA National events he was subjected to the same choices of PPE that everyone else in his field of welding and safety is offered. He was introduced to the amazing fabric CarbonX in 1996. From the day he held the fabric in his hands he knew there was a place for it in his world of auto racing but first and foremost the welding and safety industries. 

The challenge was viewed by most as unreachable due to the price point of the products offered. The industry has never been offered a premium choice of PPE until the birth of Torch Wear 5 years ago.
